Our beginning

In March 1994, while living in Baltimore Maryland, Rev. Gary L. Wyatt, Sr. had 3 consecutive dreams about the Hilltop Neighborhood in Tacoma WA.  In the dreams he was walking and talking to people on the Hilltop about Jesus.  After the 3rd dream, Rev. Wyatt woke up early in the morning and went into the family room to pray and seek God as to why He was showing him the Hilltop, which is the neighborhood where Rev. Wyatt was born and raised.

God instructed Rev. Wyatt to read the book of 1st Samuel, strategically leading him to  the verse in 1 Samuel 2:35 that says, "And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in my heart and in mind: and I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before my anointed forever."  

After reading this verse God clearly spoke to Rev. Wyatt and said, "you are the priest that I have raised up, I'm sending you back to Tacoma to plant a church on the Hilltop, and the name of the church is sure house.  Rev. Wyatt told God yes, and within a few months he and his family moved back to Tacoma and established SureHouse on August 14, 1994 in the Hilltop Community.

"SureHouse exists to serve the community by offering prayer, praise and preaching for peace!"
